Description: Hand-made 1906 Ultras supporters' stadium banner on white bedsheet directed at the San Jose Mercury News: "Mercury News / If You Don't Support Don't Bother!" Banner reflects fan dissatisfaction with limited and, in their opinion, negative coverage of the San Jose Earthquakes by the local daily newspaper. Displayed at the match against the Kansas City Wizards on August 22, 2009 at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara which was the first match following the Quakes' pulling of their advertising from the newspaper. The Quakes beat the Wizards at that match 1-0 on a goal by Chris Wondolowski in the 94th minute.
