Wilson Popenoe papers
Field notebooks, photographs, and documents of botanist and agronomist Wilson Popenoe (1892-1975). Popenoe studied avocados and other fruit and plant life, primarily in Latin America. He worked for the United States Department of Agriculture in the role of agricultural explorer from 1914-1925, including work with the University of California College of Agriculture. In 1925, he became chief agronomist of the United Fruit Company in Honduras.

Women Against Violence Against Women (WAVAW) collection, 1964-1994
The Women Against Violence Against Women(WAVAW) Collection is a mixture of papers and organizational records, publications, ephemera and audio-visual materials collected by organization member Dani Adams (national office in Los Angeles). Of particular interest are the internal memos and complete run of national newsletters produced by the Los Angeles Chapter for national chapter distribution and slides and scripts from the WAVAW slide show, the presentation that chapter members showed to audiences nationwide. There is also extensive coverage of WAVAW's actions against the film "Snuff" and the Rolling Stones's "Black and Blue" advertising campaign and national boycott of Warner Communications, Inc. …

Women's AIDS Network (WAN) Records
WAN was the first women's organization among the community service organizations that sprung up around the AIDS crisis. The Women's AIDS Network (WAN) was informally established in June of 1983 at the second National AIDS Forum in Denver. In March of 1984, women involved in AIDS services in the Bay Area began meeting as a support group. From this initial support group, WAN evolved into an advocacy organization and informational resource, both for women affected by HIV and for the providers who serve them. The Women's Employment, United States and Great Britain in the Early 20th Century Collection is held in the Macpherson Collection by and about Women at the Ella Strong Denison Library, Scripps College. Contents include magazine articles, flyers, song lyrics, pamphlets, studies, and clippings, published by labor unions, women’s groups, consumers’ leagues, and government bureaus. With the earliest dating from the 1890s, these documents focus primarily on wage inequality, work environments, and emerging labor legislation in the United States prior to World War II, from the sweatshops of New York to canning factories in Wisconsin.
