Description
Steel knife with short curved blade and leather sheath and mounted on plywood. Label on plywood reads: "This is the Knife that cut the fuse that was set to bomb The St. Peter's and St. John's Church in San Fransisco [sic]... Note tar still on knife." Actually, it was Saints Peter and Paul Church that was the target of radical anti-Catholic anarchists, who instituted five separate bomb attacks against the building in the space of one year in 1926-27.
