Photograph. "623335 -- watch your credit... International News photo, slug (camp) -- Communist camp of 700 within 25 miles of Roosevelt home. -- Hopewell Junction, N.Y.... The dining hall of the little-known Communist camp which is situated within twenty-five miles of the Hyde Park home of Governor Franklin D. Roosevelt, the Democratic candidate for president of the United States. The red camp know as Camp Kinderland, is rife with the red spirit. The 350 child members of the outfit continually singing 'The internationale', the revolutionary song. Approximately 350 adults complete the camp. (R-7-23-32-10/41)" -- typed note attached to verso.
