Description
Memorial service and ceremony for six unidentified servicemen (representing the branches of military) who died in action in World War II. Flag-draped caskets are seen being carried into the Los Angeles City Hall. The building on the right in the background is the Los Angeles County Hall of Records.
Title devised by cataloger. Date supplied by cataloger based on information from article in Los Angeles Times, Oct. 19, 1947: "Tribute Paid War Dead at City Hall Ceremony: Rotunda thronged as caskets of warriors lie in state while mayor praises heroes."
