Hanging on Berth 230 E-D at Terminal Island during a Navy Day celebration held on October 27, 1945 is a banner, which reads, "Welcome Home a Job Well Done." A cruiser is seen docked in the center and the second battleship USS Texas is docked at Berth 229 in the background (left).
