Description: Decorated car for rose parade with Interurban cars in the background. Seated are Judge & Mrs. J. R. Welch, Judge & Mrs. Perley F. Gosbey, Judge & Mrs. John E. Richards, Miss Camellia B. Marsh, Miss Ione Welch. On back: Rambler automobile decorated with fresh La France Roses won the William Randolph Hearst Trophy Cup for best decorated auto driven by a lady; another cup from Santa Clara Automobile Club. Parade at Los Gatos May 1, 1909." Mrs. J. R. Welch was driving the car.
