Description
Postcard to Miss Shigeko Yamamoto at Block 222-9-B Poston, Arizona from Pvt. Takeo Ito at the YMCA in Chicago stating he is meeting old friends in Chicago.
George Oki (Nisei), born March 9, 1927 to Magoichi and Masayo (nee Kamada) Oki in Sacramento, California. He was incarcerated at Pinedale Temporary Assembly Center and Poston II Incarceration Camp. He became a control tower operator in the Army Air Forces Communications System Unit in post-WWII occupied Japan at Itazuke Air Force Base in Kyushu, Japan.
