Description: Photograph caption dated January 28, 1963 reads, "Al Terrence Carpet Co., 13900 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks, now open for business, is fourth in a planned chain of 15 carpet specialty stores. Unit represents a modern approach to carpet merchandising and display for a volume floor-covering operation. Supervision of new store is under the direction of Jerry Terrence, vice president of the firm."
