Photograph caption dated November 3, 1949 reads, "Mrs. Clement G. Swan, 13544 Dyer St., San Fernando, at special Air Force Reserve ceremonies, accepts for dead hero-son, Flight Officer Clement E. Swan, 10 medals. Lt. Col. Frederick P. Dickerson pins medal to Mrs. Swan's coat. Awards included air medal and oak leaf cluster to air medal."
