Description
Big Tujunga dam No. 1, dedicated on May 27, 1931, with a luncheon served on top of the dam and coffee sent up on the construction elevator. This dam, which is 240 feet high and has a 15-foot roadway on top, will regulate 7500 acre feet of water. It is the first of four dams to be built in Big Tujunga Canyon and was designed by E. C. Eaton, Chief Engineer. Dated May 13, 1931.
