Photograph of a waterwheel lifting water in an orchard, Auburn, ca.1930. The old fashioned wooden waterwheel, which is almost as tall as the trees that surround it, stands center as it lifts water. A small, dusty roadway can be seen in the lower left-hand corner cutting through the orchard. Picture file card reads "Old waterwheel which lifted water where it was conveyed to the trees through a large pipe".
