Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph article dated August 30, 1962 partially reads, "If ever anyone was oriented in the field of water sports, it's Wally Longworth, Pacoima, builder of boats and water skis. He's been building boats since he was 12. At 14 he built his first paddleboard. Now, at 24, he has his own self-designed (for water skiing efficiency) 14-foot outboard. For Wally, his boat is a passport to travel, a vehicle to outdoor fun, a tailor-made escape craft from city routine." Wally clamps in ski tip.
