Description
Photograph caption dated February 6, 1957 reads "Three victims of Pacoima Junior High School plane crash work out mutual aid arrangement at San Fernando Hospital. Wally McCabe, 12, right, shown signing Bob Curry's cast, acts as legs for Bob and Ken Smith, 13, who both suffered fractured limbs in tragedy." The boys were injured when a Douglas DC7B transport crashed into the Pacoima Junior High School yard after colliding with a Northrop jet trainer plane.
