Description
Photograph of S.S. Ohio at sea during the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce's voyage to Hawaii, 1907. A view of the ship from the deck shows a partially visible mast, the chimney pipe surrounded by smaller pipes, a series of ropes hanging from the mast and the chimney, auxiliary boats in the back and additional sailing equipment. Several groups of people are either standing or sitting down on folding chairs above deck. The crowd of people extends into the background to the back of the ship. To the left and right background, water is visible which extends into the horizon.
