Description
U.S. Army Transport Thomas, seen full length at dock, perhaps in Philippines. Returning from the Spanish American War in the Philippines, the Thomas sent the first wireless message to be received in the continental United States. This message was received at a receiving station installed at the Cliff House in San Francisco.
