Photograph caption dated October 27, 1964 reads "Winners of the spinal cord overall sports research tournament held Saturday at Reseda Bowl are Buck Burdette and Bette Louis of Norwalk. The highly successful tourney raised $280 to finance Burdette's trip to Tokyo. He left today to compete in the Paralympics."
