Rocks can be seen strewn across each of the banks of the stream. Standing on the left stream, a man wearing a hat, shirt, tie, and boots can be seen examining a paper in his hands and holding a rope. On the far right shore, another man wearing a hat, shirt, and tie can be seen holding other end of the rope. At the center of the stream, another man is visible examining the center of the rope. The water reaches past the man's knees. In the extreme background, rock ridges and mountains can be seen.
