He talks about how General Harrison Otis wanted to keep labor unions out of the city. He describes the conspiracy surrounding the bombing of the Los Angeles Times building. Greenstein talks about how leader Job Harrison founded the socialist group, The Llano Colony. He describes how he and the other co-authors of the book divided up tasks to write about. He ends the interview by talking about his interests in the Llano colony and labor movements.
