Description
Photograph caption dated December 26, 1964 reads, "Final invitations for Jan. 20 Dedication Dinner for Channel 28 are adressed [sic] by Mrs. Stafford Grady, left, reservations chairman, and Mrs. Burton Baskin, North Hollywood, invitations chairman. The event, which will launch Dedication Week activities, will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and will acquaint members of the Southern California communities with the plans and objectives of the non-commercial television station. Dick Van Dyke will be host and master of ceremonies for the program, which will feature Bill Dana, Carl Beiner, Irving Stone, David Wolpert and the UCLA Theater Group."
