Description
Panoramic view of Galen Center under construction. Galen Center, a USC facility, is a 255,000-square-foot arena, which will eventually hold 10,258 seats to support USC Trojans' basketball and volleyball, as well as a 45,000-square-foot pavilion including three practice courts and offices. It is located on the southeast corner of Jefferson Blvd. and Figueroa Street and is projected to be completed in the Summer of 2006, with a construction cost of $147 million dollars. The architectural firm behind the design of the Galen Center is HNTB Corporation (formerly Howard, Needles, Tammen & Bergendoff). Photo dated November 2, 2005.
