Official letter from Marres (Topogrammateus), to Menches. village scribe of Kerkeosiris, forwarding a letter from the Basilikos Grammateus (royal scribe) concerning a change of ownership of a plot of cleruchic land. The forwarded from the Basilikos Grammateus is dated to the 5th year of Polemy IX Soter II, 22nd of the Egyptian month Phamenoth (Apr. 9, 112 B.C.) Forms part of: Menches archive. In Greek.
