Title supplied by cataloger. Theme Hosiery Company building located at 2911 San Fernando Road, Glassell Park originally was where ladies silk stockings were made during the 1920s-1940s. The Los Angeles Archdiocese bought the building in 1959 and turned it into Pater Noster High School, which ran from 1960-1991. In 1992 the building became the Ribet Academy, a college prep school. Photograph caption dated September 10, 1959 reads, "Theme Hosiery Building -- Acquired by the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Los Angeles for conversion to a boys' high school. Coldwell Banker & Company, representing Theme Hosiery Company, disclosed the sale represents transfer of physical assets in excess of $350,000."
