Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Pictured are horse-driven threshing machines used during harvesting at a Van Nuys ranch. The verso identifies the threshers as possibly belonging to Van Nuys and Lankershim, most likely Isaac Newton Van Nuys and James Boone Lankershim, who together formed the Los Angeles Farming and Milling Company, owning and operating much of the land in the San Fernando Valley.
