In the Roundhouse, in the midst of a grove on the Uplifters ranch, the men feast to the accompaniment of jolly songs. The photo on September 10, 1938, shows a scene at the luncheon table, in which men cross knives and one pours liquid from a bottle on the head of another. The fare was sauerkraut, ham hocks and pickled pigs feet. Stage stars and radio stars sang songs especially written for the celebration.
