Description
Republican graffiti, Falls Road, West Belfast, 1980. Graffiti refers to the first Republican Hunger Strike in 1980. The protest was called off on December 18 after 53 days; the collapse of the deal led to the second Hunger Strike of 1981. 'H-Block Don't Let Them Die'. Local graffiti - kids names, CFC (Celtic Football Club), 'Thee Lads' (The IRA).
