Photograph of Boulder Canyon and Lake Meade, ca.1935. The dark, jagged canyon creates dim formations as the rippling, shimmering water reflects it on either side. The lake extends across the length of the foreground but travels out of sight as it seeps through the opening in the curving canyon in the background.
