Shown with Whitney, left, is Mrs. Whitney, Wilbur Carson, grand high priest of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of California, and Mrs. Carson. Whitney already holds 50-year membership certificate of the Grand Chapter of Michigan, honorary life membership in Van Nuys Chapter No. 135. New 50-year awards are in Blue Lodge of Battle Creek, Mich.; Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Michigan, and for '50 years' service to Templar Masonry.' He entered Masonry as apprentice in March, 1909. He is 77. Active as school crossing guard."
