Description: Aerial view of San Clemente showing a site graded for development by Watt Industries at Cypress Cove on August 23, 1981. Later the photo was reprinted on June 12, 1983, with this caption: "The presence of the Richard Nixon Library is expected to increase tourism and revenue in the quiet beachfront town of 28,000." The library later was built instead at Yorba Linda, his birthplace.
