Waist-length portrait.
2013-0055.
Born in 1836, in Oregon, to fur trader Thomas McKay and Cayuse woman. Served as Captain of the Warm Springs Scouts during Modoc War. Embarked on career with Wild West Shows. Settled in the Umatilla Indian Reservation, died in 1892.
