Homeowners, led by two men on stage, Hal Singer, Granada Hills, president of Homeowners Freeway Association, and James C. McCawley, of Panorama City Property Owners Association, favored combining future Whitnall and Simi freeways." The Whitnall Freeway was proposed to run E-W between the Simi (118) and Ventura (101) freeways and was never completed.
