Description
Photograph caption dated January 17, 1957 reads "Discussing plans for new Encino extension of Mid Valley YMCA are, from left, Doug Sprague, YMCA secretary; Bob VanAnda, chairman of board of managers, and Loy White, board members. Extension is at 16037 Ventura Blvd." The Mid-Valley YMCA was located at 14515 Hamlin Street, Van Nuys. A replacement facility, at 6901 Lennox Avenue, Van Nuys, was built in 1961.
