Poling, second from left, after 34 years' employment with Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. He is shown with his wife Jeanne with whom he lives at 4211 McFarlane Ave., Burbank. Congratulating Poling on his retirement are, from left, Water and Power Department executives William S. Peterson, general manager; Burton S. Grant, assistant general manager; Samuel B. Nelson, chief engineer of water works, and Joe L. Marvin, president of the San Fernando Valley foremen and supervisors group of which Polin was a member."
