Photograph of sailors climbing the back of a streetcar in San Pedro during the visit of the Great White Fleet, 1908. Eight sailors can be seen climbing the streetcar on the corner of Broadway and Fifth Street, their backs to the camera save for the two who have made it to the top. In the background to either side of the car, pedestrians and what appear to be tall commercial buildings can be seen. Picture file card reads "'First of the Fleet' arrived in town".
