Photograph caption dated May 7, 1957 reads "Names out of past. Reginald Burum, resort manager, examines names of famed motion picture stars inscribed on stones of huge fireplace at resort. Noah Beery, brother of actor Wallace Beery, commercialized Big Rock Canyon by pouring $2,000,000 into area to develop private trout fishing enterprise named Beery's Paradise Trout Farm."
