Portrait of Charles "Charly" Orton, born in Corralitos. Family record has his birth as June 14, 1867. He died January 13, 1869. (He was the second child of Elizabeth Orton and Robert Orton, Corralitos miller and 10th sheriff of Santa Cruz County.) This photo was likely taken in late 1868.
