A wide, unpaved road is pictured diminishing in the distance to the left from the bottom right edge of the image, lined to either side by parked automobiles and two- to four-story commercial buildings. Stacks of lumber can be seen in front of a cleared lot at right. Legible signs from left to right reads: "Cafe", "Piggly Wiggly. [...] the World", "Hardware", "Almans Paint [...]", "Drugs", "S.D.R. Furn[iture]", "Garnet's Hardware", "Central Drug Co.", "For Lease", "Jon French", and "J.S. Metzger & Son".
