Description
Photograph caption dated August 4, 1950 reads "C. L. Tomsche of the Burbank American Legion levels a scathing denunciation of Lee Bachelis and his wife, Selma, Burbank attorney representing three women accused of passing out Communist literature in violation of Burbank's handbill law." The original caption in the newspaper was switched with another photograph.
