Description
Gowns from the era of frills and furbelows will be worn by members of the Ebell Club and friends at an "Old Times Hard Times" party which will include old-fashioned square and round dances, a spelling bee, elocution in the grand Delsartian manner and recitations from McGuffey's Reader. This photo shows group of members as they will appear at the party, from left to right: Mrs. Charles E. Lord; Mrs. Franklin Rauscher; Mrs. Howard R. Miner, Chairman of the event sponsored by the Ways and Means Committee; Mrs. Joe Crail; Mrs. Frank B. Wheat; and Mrs. H. A. Barre. Anyone wearing a costume more modern than 1925 wil be fined.
