Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated January 18, 1964 reads, "Dr. Hal Styles teaches, preaches and heals." The article partially reads, "In the dark depression days, Dr. Hal Styles brought religion into the homes through a coast to coast radio broadcast, 'Help Thy Neighbor.' Today, he transmits Jesus' 'healing ministry' from the pulpit of the Church of the Good Neighbor in Reseda...The congregation is an outgrowth of the early radio broadcasts and Dr. Styles' conviction that a healing church was needed in the once rural West Valley area. The small unaffiliated church was constructed in 1954. It serves approximately 700 people in the Valley area."
