Hal Styles was a radio host and producer.
Photograph caption dated December 14, 1948 reads "Hal Styles (right), father of dead girl, shows uncontrolled grief in house near scene of North Hollywood shooting. Hal Styles Jr., brother of actress, attempts to console his father over tragedy." Styles' daughter, 25-year-old Patricia Styles, shot 44-year-old Nathan N. Sugarman, her ex boyfriend, in North Hollywood. Miss Styles had a history of suicidal tendencies, and turned the gun on herself after shooting Sugarman.
