Description
Photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on July 3, 1967 states: "Folsom Lake's Granite Bay swimming and picnic area yesterday took on a Coney Island look. Park officials estimated more than 10,000 persons took to the beach and water for a day of relaxation in the warm weather. About 530 boats were launched and the officials said 2,500 cars passed through the gates."
