Description: Shown is an invitation for graduation exercises for Sacramento City elementary schools held at William Land Elementary on February 14, 1919. The invitation includes the layout of the program, including renditions of Britain, Italy, Belgium, and France's national anthems. World War I had just ended a few months prior in November of 1918, making the "songs of allies" an understandable inclusion for the program. The program resulted in 239 graduates receiving their grammar school diplomas.
