Description
Typed on back: "This was a new type air-core transformer used in my first continuous broadcasting in 1912. It has never been used so far as we know, since its first use with the San Jose to San Francisco two way radio telephone intercommunication system. This system was in successful operation for a period of eight months until its termination with the dismantling of the Fairmont Hotel Penthouse Aerial and Station (late in 1913)" (signed) Chas. D.
