Photograph caption dated June 21, 1958 reads, "Isaac Berger, left, 132 pounds, and Dave Sheppard, 225 pounds, are favorites in the national AAU weightlifting championship finals tonight at Embassy Auditorium in downtown Los Angeles. Both are world record holders. The weightlifting will be held in conjunction with the annual Mr. America contest."
