Description: Two Killefer draftsmen, identified as "Thomas and Weber," stand outside the entrance of a Killefer office, located at 3525 Downey Road in Huntington Park. Killefer, established in 1892 in Los Angeles, produced heavy duty tillage implements for use on the West Coast. Deere & Company, who often contracted Killefer for equipment, eventually acquired the company in 1937. The central Los Angeles Killefer plant was closed on Jan. 6, 1969. Photo dated: December 1, 1927.
