Description
Photograph of Timm's Landing and the San Pedro Harbor from the bluff, ca.1883. Dead Man's island and the breakwater are visible. The foreground shows large quantities of stacked lumber leading toward a collection of four buildings. The largest, central building is two-story with a porch on its harbor side, facing out towards the water. Steps lead from the porch to a walkway that terminates in the second, smaller shack-like building. The third, to the right, seems to be one-story. Further in the foreground and to the right of this, the fourth building of indeterminate architecture is visible. In the harbor to the extreme right background, a ship with three masts can be seen.
