Photograph was edited for publication purposes and has several light colored stains. The name of the library was changed from North Hollywood Sidney Lanier Regional Branch to North Hollywood Amelia M. Earhart Regional Branch in 1980. Photograph caption dated June 22, 1957 reads "Transform North Hollywood Library. Picture strip shows how adult reading room was enlarged by recent $185,627 renovation and expansion. Top is old reading room.
