Description
Ralph Rambo was well known for his dry sense of humor. This is a fake label he created; every element of the label is satirized. Notice the bugs in the fruit and the slogan "It's the Pits." Under the heading "We Also Pack," Rambo includes such delicacies as "Garbanzo Hearts in Pineapple Juice," "Salt Mackerel in Heavy Sugar Syrup," and "Puree of Tree-Ripe Popcorn." Taken from page 17 of a scrapbook created by Rambo documenting his work at Muirson Label Company.
