Description
View of Ojai Valley Inn, playground of wealthy Southern Californians and Hollywood stars. The Inn was reported untouched by the spectacular forest fire which roared into the town of Ojai after having raced across 14,000 acres. The efforts of 2000 firefighters failed to check the blaze. Thousands fled the area. Photo dated: September 14, 1948.
